If you know me or have read my blog before, then you surely know about my love of food trucks. I am not totally sure why, but food just tastes better out of a truck sometimes. Anyway, one of my new favorite food trucks right here in Boston is Clover. I guess technically the Clover food truck is part of the bigger Clover Food Lab, which has locations in Cambridge at 7 Holyoke St. and 1075 Cambridge St. What makes Clover really unique is its use of fresh, locally grown, and when possible, organic ingredients.
The menu features all vegetarian options with really creative twists. Some of my favorites are:
- Soy BLT (It tastes just like the real thing!)
- Egg and eggplant sandwich
- French fries w/rosemary
- Brown sugar lemonade
- Local coffee (brewed right in front of you, kind of French press style)
- Cider doughnuts
The crew at Clover is always so friendly and inviting that it really makes the whole food truck experience so much more fun. The Clover website includes a blog and continuous updates about the company, which creates a real community feel for Clover-lovers everywhere. As of this month, Clover has new food trucks at City Hall, Cleveland Circle, Park Street and the Boston Public Library so there's really no excuse for you to not check it out!
So during my hunt for the best food trucks in Boston, I made this video featuring Clover. If this video doesn't make your mouth start to water, I don't know will. Enjoy!
